• Name and profile photo from your Google account (if you use Google Sign-In)
• Video URLs you submit for analysis
• Payment information processed securely by Stripe (we never see your card details)

Information collected automatically:

• Number of analyses performed (to enforce daily limits)
• Subscription plan and status
• General usage statistics (platform type, analysis counts)
• Error logs to help us fix issues

Information we do NOT collect:

• We do not store the videos you analyze
• We do not record your browsing history
• We do not collect precise location data
• We do not collect device fingerprints

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the WhyItBlew video analysis service
• Manage your account and subscription
• Send verification codes and transactional emails
• Enforce daily analysis limits based on your plan
• Improve the accuracy of our AI analysis engine
• Respond to support requests and enquiries
• Detect and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity
• Send important service updates (not marketing without consent)

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Google Cloud Platform, located in the Asia-Southeast region.

• All data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Passwords are never stored — we use Google OAuth or email verification codes
• Access tokens and session data are stored in your browser's local storage only
• We retain account data for as long as your account is active
• Usage logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days

While we take reasonable security measures, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong unique password for your Google account and report any security concerns to us immediately.

WhyItBlew uses the following third party services to operate:

• Google Firebase — Authentication and hosting. Privacy Policy
• Google Gemini AI — Video analysis and AI insights. Terms
• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management. Privacy Policy
• Resend — Transactional email delivery
• Google Cloud Run — Backend server hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum information necessary for each service to function.

WhyItBlew uses browser local storage (not traditional cookies) to store:

• Your login session and email address
• Your subscription plan and pro status
• Daily analysis count and reset date
• Your display preferences

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers except when needed for authentication or subscription verification.

We may also use cookies from Google Firebase for authentication purposes. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

All payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. This means:

• We never see or store your credit card details
• Stripe handles all payment security and compliance
• Your billing information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time through our billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — Object to how we process your data
• Withdrawal — Withdraw consent at any time

WhyItBlew is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at hello@whyitblew.com and we will delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send an email notification to registered users
• Show a notice in the app for 7 days after the change

Your continued use of WhyItBlew after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
